NO TRUE WORDS
As feelings surge
thought s swell
actions rush
heart flutters
soul aches…
No true words
may be spoken?
No true acts
may be dared?
The indifferent
the judgmental
the scared
and the lame
are just
a large audience
jaded by the game.
As roles emerge
reason clouds
principles fade
dreams evaporate
plans halt…
No true words
may be spoken.
No true acts
may be dared.
As feelings surge
thought s swell
actions rush
heart flutters
soul aches…
No true words
may be spoken?
No true acts
may be dared?
The indifferent
the judgmental
the scared
and the lame
are just
a large audience
jaded by the game.
As roles emerge
reason clouds
principles fade
dreams evaporate
plans halt…
No true words
may be spoken.
No true acts
may be dared.

Visiting a couple of other blogs reminded me of this poem.
They were really good posts - completely different.
What they had in common was, that afterwards I felt I've said too much, particularly on one of them, as I later felt - despite having stated facts - I had rained on someone else’s parade… S***t… !
Interesting how lessons come about.
Interesting how lessons come about.
One post brought some very interesting response to a question I have been asking myself for years… why “people shoot the messenger”. Quiet an interesting revelation.
The other one brought on regrets, as 1) I’m pretty certain my point was completely missed, misinterpreted and disregarded as of no use, 2) I realized that inadvertently – I made myself (actually twice) “the messenger”. S***t…!

To think of it, ooooooooops ! It appears that I also managed to put my foot in my mouth - at yet another blog. (Bad things come in "threes"?)
Ouch, ouch, ouch - mea culpa, mea culpa, mea culpa!

So who's been upsetting Angel Dust
who can else shines like star burst
One should flutter
One should dance
One should while away the hours
Whilst not get burnt, jaded or hurt
One should flutter
One should dance
and when one does tire
one should simply rest a little while
That's lovely... clearly, the soul of a gentle poet... Quasar dear
