My dear Friends...

It is the sound of your voice
that stops me on my tracks
Your email address on the screen
Your icon on the blog
Your serious, pained,
loving, caring,
light or mischievous
words that probe my intellect
tickle my emotions
cradle my soul.
On days such as this one
my heart is filled
with joy
gratitude and pride
as I feel and know you to be my friend...
I love you!

Among the priviliges
of friendship
is the opportunity
to share
some of the deeper feelings
of human life....
the joys and sorrows.
Pain is lessend
when shared
with a friend
who cushions the blow.
Joys are doubled
when shared
with a friend.
Then two hearts are happy.
Two people
Laugh and sing.
A friend
is for sharing
No matter what the turmoil
can come out
in the presence
of a friend.
In a friendship
there is the magical warmth
of the human heart
that surpasses
the power of medicine.
Thank you dear Margie!
Any other thoughts on friendship?

I have not heard from you for a longlong time! These verses make up for your absence! I will digest them slowly, first to just savour the fragrance...

Dear Kianseng...

I have been tending my nest and, looking after"business".
Had come to some "contretemps" with the exhibits, that had to cancel due to the fact that they were not unfolding in my best interest...
Alternatives have been found, it will all be for the best at the end.

Thank you for caring.
I trust to find you all well - will come by in the next few days as things ( and myself) are becoming more settled - if that is a word I can use in my life, lol!

love and blessings my friend

You say it all, and in the most beautiful way--the thoughts we often feel, but are unable to put into words.

Thank YOU! And thanks for the post. I guess we're fellow wordmeisters...heh, don't you love that term? Can't you sometimes taste words, feel them roll around on your tongue... Isn't it amazing how a little revision of one mere word here or there can entirely change the meaning of a sentence?

Fluently speaking three languages and having been a simultaneous interpreter for a couple of decades has truly refined my taste for the slightest nuance, and increased my appetite for those words that are given new life in the context they are used...

Unfortunately, I must admit that I am more capable of spotting the "admirable" word or phrase than uttering it!

As a proof reader (right ?) you must have had some wonderful moments…

Hello Kiansneg
you mus thave gotten my "energy" messages as you have been on my mind all this past week - as I recalled you letting me know you went back posting at blogger.

I have not been this busy since 1994! Serioulsly.

Just got home fron the Surrey Arts Centre where I was invited to demostrate the paper batik tecnique - who would have thought it!?
Anyway, I am in the process of finalizing the turn around of my apt into a "formal studio-gallery" open to viewing by appointment.

The first weekend of August I am joining two other local artist to paint a mural at one of our beaches - the first one ever, I might add... City endorsed.
Be up to our eyeballs during the 58th annual Festival of the Sea..... looking forward to it.

Finished "Within" - as per post at studiogaleria blog...

On the writing front I have only been jotting down thoughts regarding gender issues on relation to the "Sacred Feminine" project.
Not much time for anything.

Will be posting about it all in the next couple of weeks as I have a little bit more time on my hands... (yeah!)

So nice to see you around - hope you are all well
Love and blessings
