"Service has a life of its own. A single act of kindness may have a long trajectory and touch those we will never meet or see. Something that we casually offer may move through a web of connections far beyond ourselves to have effects that may have never imagined. And, so each one of us may have left far more behind than we may ever know"

Angel Dust, Magic!
Alas, we are but for a moment
and maybe a memory lingers on
but most of all are remembered
a touch of kindness even long gone
and a gentleness from days bygone
Isn't that true dear Quasar.
Those tiny, almost unperceivable getures of kindness... Particularly those, I find them to alter the course of my day, even my life - something such as a random smile given to a "stranger", or accepted at that "precise" unexpected moment... Magic.
Hi Angel dear
I am recalling the kind gesture you did not too long ago for a young man!
It makes me smile!
I am sure the young man greatly appreciated your kindness!
Many joys and blessings my friend!
Hugs!
Margie
Dear Margie, I was thinking about the woman that smiled at me as I was hurrying home on saturday - not feeling well - it completely took my mind off how uncomfortable/miserable I felt.
It was split second...
Love, joy and laughter
Big hug
P.S.: I saw the young man with a showel in his hands during the snow storm, happily chating away with others at one of the mall entrances - a different youg man all together! It certainly appeared his luck had changed around...
